Enfield Poets’ Poetry Competition 2026
The competition will be judged by Hannah Copley.
Hannah is a prize-winning poet and Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Westminster. She is a poetry editor at the literary magazine Stand and author of two poetry collections – Lapwing (Pavilion Poetry, April 2024) and Speculum (Broken Sleep Books, October 2021).
Winners will be invited to read their poems at the Enfield Poets’ Literary Festival. The judge, Hannah Copley, will also give a reading. The Literary Festival will be held at Forty Hall, Enfield, on 26 – 27 September 2026.
First Prize: £500, Second Prize: £250, Third Prize: £125
Closing date: 31 August 2026
Entry fee: £4 per poem or £10 for three poems
