To celebrate our twentieth anniversary, Enfield poets are holding a literary festival over the weekend 25th-26th April, 2020 at the Dugdale Centre, Enfield. Events will take place all day Saturday and on Sunday evening. The festival consists of many free and some ticketed events.
Saturday 25th from:
10am: Opening by Enfield Resident HM Henry VIII on the royal poetry in Enfield. Accompanied by Elizabeth I, James I and Raleigh.
11am: Browning’s Pied Piper performed by The Young Talent Academy (tickets available at the box office).
12pm in the Foyer: Poem-a-thon.
7:30pm in the theatre: Ruth Padel poetry reading and adjudicating the Enfield Poets Poetry Competition (tickets available at the box office)
