Anna M. Mickiewicz Receives High Honor From Poland

Our congratulations to Anna Maria Mickiewicz!

Anna was recently honored with the Cross of Freedom and Solidarity at the Polish Embassy in London

It is given to people associated with the democratic opposition in Poland after the war. Anna received this award for her activities in the democratic opposition in the Independent Students’ Association and in the Intercollegiate Committee for the Defense of Political Prisoners.
The ceremony took place on September 25th.
