A Sunday deep dive into the practice of Cheryl Moskowitz and Alastair Gavin’s groundbreaking All Saints Sessions, a poetry and electronics performance series where words, electronic textures and field recordings spark off each other for a uniquely involving performative experience.

PERFORMANCE 2.30-4pm

This very special day at Forty Hall will feature an afternoon performance in the atmospheric Long Gallery starting with an electronic set by stunning sound artist Bint Mbareh embodying her research into Palestinian folklore with a blend of live vocals, buzuq and field recordings. Following that All Saints Sessions will present their new show After You Mr. Ryder inspired by Kazuo Ishiguro’s hallucinatory novel The Unconsoled, in immersive surround sound.

WORKSHOP 11am-1pm

In the morning Cheryl and Alastair will run a workshop for max 12 participants, exploring collaborative writing with aspects of sound in performance, including the use of field recordings.
